What to include in your request

• ▢ Product and its protection needs: oxygen, moisture, light, and aroma barrier, plus target shelf life
• ▢ Package format, fill volume, and the full dimensional drawing with tolerances
• ▢ Line compatibility: filler and capper type, sealing method and temperature, and running speed
• ▢ Material and structure: resin or board grade, film layer structure, gauge, and any barrier layer
• ▢ Food-contact compliance (FDA 21 CFR or equivalent) and any migration testing required
• ▢ Closure fit, torque or seal spec, tamper evidence, and headspace requirements
• ▢ Sustainability targets: recyclability, PCR content, and any transit or compression test standard

What drives the quote

Common spec mistakes to avoid
