What is PostRequest?

PostRequest is a procurement team run by agents. You tell us what you need, our agents find suppliers, email them your request, and bring back a side-by-side comparison of the quotes. You decide who to talk to.

Who is it for?

Small food and beverage manufacturers, roughly 5 to 100 people, where the owner or an ops lead does the buying on top of everything else: co-packers, specialty food makers, bakeries, sauce and snack makers, and beverage producers.

What can you get quoted?

Ingredients, packaging, equipment, MRO and spare parts, cleaning and process chemicals, and services like maintenance, lab testing, and logistics. If you're not sure whether something fits, start a request and we'll let you know if we can't help.

Are the agents people or software?

The agents are software, and during early access our team works alongside them. People help build shortlists and read supplier replies, and a person reviews every comparison before it reaches you.

Do suppliers see my name or company?

No. Suppliers see a description of what you need and roughly where it ships, not who you are. Your name, company, and contact details go to a supplier only after you choose to connect with them.

How do you contact suppliers?

By email, from a PostRequest address, as PostRequest's sourcing team. Each supplier gets your request and at most one follow-up. We never pretend to be you, and we never overstate your order size, budget, or urgency.

Can I include my current suppliers?

Yes. Add them and we'll request quotes from them alongside new options, so you see how they compare.

How long does it take?

It depends on the item and on how quickly suppliers reply, so we don't promise a turnaround time. Once your shortlist is ready we send the request, follow up once with suppliers who haven't replied, and send you the comparison when we have quotes worth comparing.

What if fewer than 3 suppliers reply?

We aim for 3 comparable quotes, but suppliers don't always reply. If we get fewer, we send you what we have and tell you which suppliers didn't respond.

How much does it cost?

Free during early access. No card needed. Paid plans will come later, and early users will hear first.

Do I need an account or password?

No. Starting a request sets up your buyer profile, and we email you a private link to follow your requests. There's no password to remember.

Lost the link to your requests?

Reply to any email we've sent you, or write to info@postrequest.io from the address you used, and we'll resend it.

Can I have my data deleted?

Yes. Email info@postrequest.io and ask us to delete your data. A person on our team handles each request (it isn't automatic) and completes it within 7 days. We collect only what a request needs, and we never sell contact data.

I'm a supplier. How do I get requests?

List your company on PostRequest. When a buyer's request fits what you sell, our agents may include you on the shortlist and email you the request.
