- ▢ Sludge: expected volume, dewatering target solids, and the haul or disposal route
- ▢ Site constraints: footprint, existing tankage, power, odor and noise limits, and operator availability

- Tankage: packaged steel skids versus site-built concrete
- Aeration blowers, membranes, or media, and their energy demand
- Automation, monitoring, and compliance-sampling instrumentation
